Melissa McManus
Mel@thebodylabtraining.com
Mel grew up as a member of the nomadic subculture of Army brats. Even with the constantly varied environments, the universal theme was always fitness. Every day was spent actively outdoors with the other kids on base. She began organized sports at 9 years old and continued to share that passion for fitness throughout college.
After college she began Olympic Lifting as a way to introducesome variety into her training. Shortly thereafter she was introduced to CrossFit. It didn’t take long before she began adapting the functional fitness methods into the training of her private clients and began competing, leading to appearances in the regional CrossFit games in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016. In 2017 she earned her highly coveted Professional status as a female bodybuilder in the Women’s Physique division.
Gina Curley
Info@inmotionvt.com
Gina Curley is a certified Pilates instructor with a lifelong background in athletics and movement. Raised in a military family that valued fitness, she competed across a wide range of sports, developing a deep appreciation for discipline, resilience, and physical performance.
Her path to Pilates became deeply personal following a serious car accident that required multiple surgeries. During recovery, Pilates played a pivotal role in her healing, inspiring her to leave a successful private banking career in Los Angeles to train intensively with a master instructor grounded in the Stott Pilates method.
Now based in Vermont, Gina brings a thoughtful, precise, and compassionate approach to Pilates, blending technical expertise with the Aloha spirit of her Hawaiian roots—emphasizing balance, connection, and mindful strength. Outside the studio, she and her husband are restoring a historic farmhouse and envision its barns as future creative and community spaces
